FLIGHT (ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY)

This, as the caption shows, is a piece I did for self-promotional purposes. I have a thing for flying machines--especially rocket backpacks. Who knows why?

Great illustration! I also like the way it is designed, with the circle around him. He's very super hero-ish....I think it's his boots...very cool!

Because rockets are AWESOME! That's why they don't sell them in Wal-Mart. Love it James! Great stuff as every one of your posts. Love the attention to detail and the pose. Awesome!

I just found your blog via Wardomatic and I love it. I also agree soverrymuch with your thoughts on The Passion. It struck me as well that there was no reason SHOWN in the film as to what made Jesus so loved and so hated (and misunderstood).

Very very good illustration. It has a very vintage feel to me, and somehow it reminds me of Rockwell's style. The pose is so full of energy and that crazy smile is just fantastic ... I wonder what he's thinking?
